Wherewolf allows you to export your guests’ data to Excel. The exported file will contain every* guest property saved in the database, such as their email addresses or date of their tour, and you can download this at any time.
Finding relevant guest records to export
1) Use the Discover functionality in your Wherewolf Dashboard. Open your dashboard by logging in.
On the home screen of your Dashboard, click on the Discover button to mine your customer data.
2) You can narrow down which guests’ data you’d like to include by changing the values of the various filters available to you.
For example, the first filter on the screen is Date Range. You can set the start date and end date to indicate the range you’re interested in.
3) When you’re done setting your filters, click on the Get Guests button.
4) The resulting screen presents you with some graphed analytics about the guest data that you have just mined.
Downloading/exporting guest data
For the purposes of this guide, we’re not interested in the graphs but want to export the data for all of the guests that form part of this group.
To achieve this, click on the 'Download/Export' button at the top of the screen.
Done!
Your downloaded file will contain all properties for your guests.
Each row represents a guest record in our database and each cell represents a guest property.
The relevant property is indicated by the column heading.
* Every Guest property apart from signatures/photos/waiver text. Your spreadsheet program (e.g. Microsoft Excel) will be so slow that it's unusable, even for as little as a few hundred guests.
If you'd like to see a specific guest's signature/photos/waiver text, simply find the guest through the dashboard and view their waiver.
If you would like to request an ANSI SQL database export of all of your guests, that requires you to import data into an ANSI SQL compliant database such as PostgreSQL, simply let us know at support@getwherewolf.com and we'll prepare a download for you.
