Through a booking integration, your reservations are shared with Wherewolf and a waiver is automatically generated for that group.
Find our reservation partners and more information on each integration here!
The automatic waiver link we send is connected to their specific booking – depending on your tier, we could send this through automated emails or SMS.
Need to resend the waiver link?
Just go into the Wherewolf Booking Search tool and locate the booking, then follow these instructions.
How far in advance does Wherewolf send the waivers?
Your waivers can either be sent:
A) immediately at the time of booking, or
B) based on their onsite arrival – for example, 3 days prior to their activity, one week prior to their activity.
If your guests have access to the generic waiver link (read more on that here) then they can potentially complete a waiver that is not associated with any booking. If you have an integrated booking system, we generally recommend keeping the generic link unavailable.
Bookings & Pre-arrival Waivers – What To Know:
If the booking is changed or modified before a waiver is completed, then the waiver link does not need to be resent. It will pull those new updates when the guest opens the link.
If the guest has completed a waiver for a future activity, then the booking date is changed, the waiver will be moved to the newly updated date. You can use the ‘Search’ button to locate the guest’s waiver and change the status to ‘deleted’ if you need to. The guest can complete another waiver now.
If the guest completes a waiver then their booking is deleted, their waiver is automatically removed from your daily manifest and analytic reports (although we still store this in your database)
Please note that sending a waiver immediately at the time of booking does carry some risk.
Your guests may be completing a waiver significantly before their arrival.
It is important that you understand that their information may be out of date by the time they arrive. You can speak to a Wherewolf team member about how to mitigate these risks, or read about our 2-step waiver process here.
