Getting started video tutorial
Here is a quick video tutorial demonstrating the features and operation of the Waiver App.
Login to your Waver App
- Launch the ‘Wherewolf Waiver App’ on your device
- Login using your Wherewolf username and password
- Enter your app name and log in
Operator and Guest 'Modes'
There are two main functions/modes of the Waiver App:
- Operator Mode: Intended for use by staff to manage waivers, view bookings and control waiver settings. This mode is the default when the app is launched
- Guest Mode: Intended for use by guests to complete their waivers
note: Once in Guest Mode the user is required to enter a passcode if they wish to exit back into Operator mode. This passcode is setup during onboarding and is unique to each user
Viewing you bookings and waivers
IMPORTANT: Your app will always start in 'Operator Mode'. This mode is designed for you and your staff to manage the daily bookings and configure waiver settings.
- On the Waiver App ‘Home’ page, you can use the 'Coming up next' section to see the bookings scheduled to arrive next.
-
Beneath this view is also a button to ‘Open Daily Overview’.
- It allows you to view the bookings for the entire day, their status, and the overall progress of all bookings; or, all of the partially or completed waivers for the guests that have waivers today.
You can toggle between these views.
- Clicking the menu icon top left allows you to open all options for the app; for example, we can navigate back to the 'Home' page, the 'Daily Overview' page, or to 'Launch A Form'.
Launching a Waiver for guests to complete
-
From the Home Menu select 'Launch a Form'
- Select which type of waiver ‘form’ you wish your guests to complete and/or launch the form
Note: Guest defaults allow you to pre-select answers on behalf of your guests. More info here
IMPORTANT: The app is now in Guest Mode and ready for guests to arrive and start completing waivers. Guest Mode allows guests to sign waivers without exposing the sensitive data of other participants. It is your public-facing waiver app and is passcode-protected.
Signing a waiver using the Waiver App
- Guests tap 'Touch here to get started'
- If your Wherewolf app is integrated with a reservation system then your guests can enter their booking ID into the search bar to find their booking. Alternatively, they can scan the QR Code in their pre-arrival waiver email to open their unique waiver (or select 'I don't have a booking')
- Next, guests confirm the booking is correct and sign in – either by selecting their name or selecting "sign in as unlisted guests" if their name isn't present.
- The guest completes their waiver form, answering the questions you have configured
How to return to Operator Mode if a guest is completing a waiver
If you need to exit a guest waiver to view the Operator Mode, simply select this menu icon and enter your 4-digit passcode.
Note: Exiting guest mode if a waiver is still in progress will pause the waiver. You can resume or discard a waiver that is still in progress from the Operator menu.
Finding a waiver for a guest who does not know their booking name or ID
- If you have guests that arrive without their booking ID then they may struggle to find/start their waiver in guest mode. In this instance you can exist guest mode and search for their booking in Operator mode using the Daily Overview and clicking on their booking.
- When you open the booking, click the 'Launch' option at the top of the page to open waivers for that whole booking, or click on a specific guest to start a waiver just for them. These are shown below.
Testing your app if you are new to Wherewolf or have recently made changes
1. Download the app to your own device and open the waiver form you wish to test
2. Make a test booking for yourself that will demonstrate the relevant changes (or select 'I don't have a booking')
Note: If you are testing with a reservation system remember to make the booking for the day you want to test, using activities that required waivers, use your own name and contact details and do not cancel or delete the booking until testing has been completed
3.Test the waiver by using Operator Mode to find and launch your booking or enter Guest Mode and enter the booking ID, then complete the waiver
4. Review the completed waiver in the Operator Mode or on the Dashboard.
