Wherewolf's 'Operator Signatures' feature allows you to store the unique signature of each staff member so it can be easily applied to a guests waiver.
This is especially useful if you wish your staff to review waivers to ensure they have been completed properly, or if certain information needs to be checked, such as:
- drivers license
- relevant certifications
- payment
- medical, dietary or travel history
- issuing or returning rental equipment
- confirming training or instruction was provided prior to the trip
These signatures can easily applied via the dashboard and can be viewed in your operations manifest and on the final waiver pdf itself.
Enabling the feature:
- Confirm this feature is available on your subscription by going to Dashboard -> Account -> Subscription page on the dashboard: https://dash.getwherewolf.com/account/subscription (looking for 'Operator Signatures' under the Features & Functionality section)
- Setup individual user access for each of your staff who will use 'Signatures'. Steps on how to add user accounts is covered here
- Once ready, contact our support team via support@getwherewolf.com requesting the feature so we can enable it for you. Once setup, you can follow the instructions below to add signatures to you user profiles
Adding signatures to your user profile
- Visit - https://dash.getwherewolf.com/user (or select 'user settings' from the top right dropdown)
2. Once you confirm you are in the correct user account, under User Settings click the 'add your signature' button
3. Use the signature capture popup to add your signature and give the signature a name, then add the signature to your account
4. You can add multiple signatures to this section for different uses if that is required, simply by repeating steps 2 & 3 above (or delete signatures using the trash can icon)
Applying signatures to guest waivers
-
From within the Dashboard>Operations page https://dash.getwherewolf.com/operations, find the guest that you wish to 'co-sign' and click in the empty space below the relevant 'signature' column
IMPORTANT: This column's title can be customised to be the most meaningful for the specific operation i.e. 'eligibility confirmed' or 'checked medical' etc.
2. Select your preferred signature from the saved signatures (or add a new signature / close without signing)
3. The signature that was selected will preview in the 'signature' column accompanied by the signed date/time and user account that applied the signature. Opening the guest record will allow the signature to be inspected more closely. The waiver PDF will also carry this signature.
NOTE: Once signed the signature cannot be removed, changed or signed by another staff member.
NOTE: The date/time of signing is recorded in UTC (universal time) to remain unaffected by regional timezones or daylight savings.
