Wherewolf provides user access controls to the 'Admin User' of each app via the Dashboard>Settings>Users tools.
Note: Each account is assigned an Admin level user. This user is typically the individual that setup the account (agreed to the terms of service, paid the bill) and they are automatically granted access to manage settings, make changes to the app and manage billing level activities.
Only the Admin Contact for your account can access the 'Users' tab and invite additional users to use the dashboard, as well as grant them access to Settings or revoke their access.
To manage your users via the dashboard:
- Login to https://dash.getwherewolf.com (as the admin user)
- From the left hand menu, select 'Setting'
-
From the Settings page select 'Users'
4. From the Users page you can:
- Add new users
- Remove users
- Add/remove permissions to edit
5. To grant an existing user access to Settings, just tick off the box against their name
The Administrator and Billing contacts are special users: (for information on how to manage them see How to update Admin or Billing contacts)
- they cannot be removed from the User Access page
- Administrator user has access to all Dashboard sections except for the Account section
- Billing user is the only type of user that has access to the Account section
Managing Operation Manifest Columns
In order to complete these steps you must:
- be logged in using the administrator email address for the app your are editing (check this here: https://dash.getwherewolf.com/account/details)
- have the staff member whose manifest you intend to edit on hand (they will need to login using another computer to make changes under your supervision)
IMPORTANT: As admin you can:
- make changes to the manifest columns that all standard users see by default (if not customised
- customise your own users manifest columns (if you are the admin)
- allow temporary access for any other non admin user to customise to their manifest columns views (and revoke access once changes are made)
Steps:
1. Visit the dashboard (user settings): https://dash.getwherewolf.com/settings/user
2 Toggle the "editing columns" button, far right of the page, for 1x user only!
3. Working with the staff member/user complete these steps: Managing Operation Manifest Columns
4. Returning to your own "admin" user account you can visit https://dash.getwherewolf.com/settings/user and 'disable' their 'editing columns' ability which will lock the settings they just configured and prevent the user from making any further changes without your supervision.
