Sites let you group activities, waiver pages, and Terms pages by location. This is useful if you operate from multiple departure points, stores, docks, offices, or other locations, and you want your waiver experience to change depending on where a guest is checking in.
Sites can be used to:
- Keep manifests organised by location.
- Automatically assign a location to guests based on the activity they booked.
- Allow guests or staff to choose a location during check in.
- Show or hide activities, question pages, or Terms pages using conditional logic.

How Sites work
Once a guest has a Site assigned, either automatically, selected by the guest, or chosen by a staff member, that value can be used to determine what appears in the waiver.
Examples:
Different activities at different locations
- Your Kayak Tours depart from the Marina.
- Your Bike Tours depart from the Town Centre.
You can assign each activity to its corresponding Site so guests are automatically inherit the site when they begin their waiver.
Different waiver experiences per location
You can use Sites to tailor the waiver flow, such as:
- Only show activities available at the selected Site.
- Display location-specific safety questions.
- Show different Terms and Conditions depending on the Site.
- Collect information that is only relevant at one location.
Sites are most useful when:
- You operate from multiple locations.
- Different locations offer different activities.
- Different locations require different waiver content.
If all of your activities operate from the same location and use the same waiver flow, you may not need to use Sites.
Adding a Site
From your Dashboard: https://dash.getwherewolf.com
- Go to Settings > Sites.
- Under Add New, enter the name of your Site.
- Click +.
Your new Site will appear in the Assignable section.
From here you can:
- Click the Edit (pencil) icon to rename the Site.
- Click the Remove (bin) icon to remove the Site.
Note: Removing a Site removes it from future use. If the Site is already being used by activities or conditional logic, update those configurations before deleting it.
Assigning Sites to activities
If an activity always operates from a particular location, assign a Site directly to the activity so guests are automatically assigned to the correct location.
For example:

Assign a site to an activity when:
- An activity only departs from one location
- You want manifests to automatically group guests by site
- You want to hide activities from guests who select a different site
How to assign a Site:
- Go to Settings > Activities.
- Click into the activity you want to update.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Choose the Site from the Site dropdown.
- Changes will automatically save
Once configured, guests for that activity will automatically inherit the assigned Site.
Adding a Site Page to Your Waiver
If you want guests to choose their own location during check‑in, you can add a Site page to your waiver.
Add a Site page when:
- Guests choose their departure point
- You run the same activity from multiple locations
- You want conditional logic to adapt the waiver based on the guest’s selection
How to add a Site page:
- Go to Settings > Forms.
- Select Insert New Page.
Click on the 'Site' pre-built template
This will add the Site page to your waiver alongside the options which are automatically populated from your configured Sites.
Once added:
- Guests will select their site during check‑in
- Activities and terms can be shown/hidden based on the site chosen
Staff Site Selection
If you prefer staff to choose the site instead of guests - Do NOT add the Site page to your waiver. Instead, staff can assign the Site before check in using the Guest Defaults settings in the Waiver App.
This is useful when:
- Staff already know which location the guest belongs to.
- Guests are checking in on shared devices.
- You want to prevent guests from selecting the wrong location.

Using Sites with conditional logic
Once a Site has been assigned, you can configure activities, question pages, and Terms pages to only appear for guests at specific Sites.
For example:
Example 1: Show different activities
A business operates from two locations:
- Marina
- Town Centre
After a guest selects Marina, only Marina activities are shown.
Guests who select Town Centre only see activities that operate from Town Centre.

Example 2: Show site-specific pages
A riverside location requires guests to acknowledge specific river safety terms and conditions.
Configure the river safety page so it is only shown when:
Site = Riverside
Guests checking in at other sites will not see this page.
How to apply conditional logic to a page
Use the conditional logic editor inside each page or activity.
In the first drop down, select 'Site"
In the second drop down:
- Select 'equals' if you are only setting the conditional logic for one site option
- OR - select 'is in' if you want the page to show for more than 1 site (e.g., Site - is in - 'riverside', 'marina'
Updating your conditional logic
Whenever you:
- add a new Site,
- rename an existing Site,
- remove a Site, or
- introduce a new location,
Please review any conditional logic that references Sites. This includes:
- Activity visibility
- Question pages
- Terms pages
- Any other pages configured with Site-based conditions
If these conditions are not updated, guests may see incorrect pages or miss information that should apply to their location.
